Chineham Exhibition

The annual Members’ Exhibition at Chineham Library will be held from Saturday 3rd to Saturday 17th October. This is not a competitive event and any subject may be entered. Due to space restrictions only two images may be submitted by each member, and efforts will be made to display as many as possible.

Please hand entries to Peter Malcolm by Thursday October 1st together with an entry form. All prints should have the member’s name and print title on the reverse.

Arundel Wetlands Centre

Basingstoke camera club is planning a trip to the Arundel Wetlands Centre on Saturday 24th Oct 2009. A signup sheet will be available on club nights. Cost will have to be paid by the 1st of October. Costs are £10 per head inclusive of lunch. We do need a minimum of 12 people to take advantage of the offer. Emails to sandra@rasit.aquiss.com or signup at a club evening.

The plan is to travel, car sharing where possible. Further details will be finalised later when numbers are established.

Please let me know soonest to ascertain if we can attract the require numbers.

VIEWFINDERS OF ROMSEY

To mark the 40th Anniversary of the formation of Viewfinders of Romsey, the club is hosting an evening with the renowned photographer Tom Mackie on Saturday 26th September at the Crosfield Hall in Romsey. PHOTOCLINIC

This is a great opportunity to receive critique of your photos in a friendly, constructive and non-competitive arena so do consider coming along. The next dates booked are:

         12th October  9th November  14th December

The Photoclinic is held at the Jolly Farmer pub in Cliddesden, who kindly make their front room available to us.

How To Do It Group

Informal sessions in a member's house are held for members who want help with various skills related to producing and showing photographs.

This will be practical advice on topics such as how to use a digital camera, how to manipulate images in Photoshop and then print them, and how to mount your prints.

Look for the sign-up sheet or ask Mike or Cath.
