The club puts on several exhibitions throughout each year: Annual Open Projected Image Exhibition - held every February and open to all club photographers in the UK, this is our club’s premier event. Entries are invited from all photographers in the UK and Gibraltar, and judged by a respected member of the PAGB judging panel. Trophies and medals are awarded in several classes to the winners. From 2008 only digital images will be accepted, reflecting the change in medium used with the increase in use of digital cameras. Click here to visit our Open Exhibition website Member’s Exhibition - held in September each year at the Chineham branch library. Officially non-competitive, but offers an opportunity to exhibit work of the photographer’s choosing, as distinct from a judged entry. The best 3 prints are adjuged informally by the library staff and the best print is awarded the “Colab Trophy” to be held for the next 12 months. Click here to view the Chineham Exhibition entries. Occasional exhibition at the Willis Museum - usually with a theme, the club is allocated display time at the Willis on a bi-annual basis by the County Council. Occasionally, additional time is offered, usually at short notice, so watch this space! 2008 Members’ Summer ExhibitionTo be shown in the Willis Museum from 26th June to 7th August. Panels of 4 prints, preferably themed and similarly mounted (no heavy mounts please) Enties may be handed in on club evenings from 24th April to 22nd May. |
