Photographers and the Law

We’ve had an email from a member at Bracknell Camera Club about an e-petition that's doing the rounds to ask the government to clarify the position on photography in public places. Austin Mitchell has an Early Day Motion in place at the moment too.

It's not a partisan policy and it would be of potential benefit to all photographers regardless of their political views.

Here's the link:http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/photographylaw/

Austin Mitchell's EDM is here:http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/news/labour_mp_austin_mitchell_launches_photography_petition_in_parliament_news_197555.html

and you can write to your MP and encourage them to support the EDM here: http://www.writetothem.com/
